What to do when the Buyer Agent is missing the point

Sometimes happens that a first-time homebuyer feels particularly invaded or not properly assisted by aReal Estate Agent. It is true that some times, not always, Buyers’ Agents may put the buyer under pressure with a home they really don’t like just because the Real Estate transaction must be made in record time and no matter about the consequences. In that case and if you have detected the Agent’s pressures and hurries on you, don’t get nasty. Call the Agent and make an appointment for a talk. Be honest with the agent and make him/her understand that you are not feeling good with the services provided or that you are not feeling professionally assisted. Let the Agent speak. They are humans and from time to time they must face a sad or stressful situation in life as everybody does and didn’t realize that they brought the problem to their professional job. If the situation is a non-personal related issue but a lack of respect or professionalism, you can always fill a complaint form and send it to the Agent’s local association. If you are a serious buyer, you surely have a clear picture of what you want. You and your Real Estate Agent must be walking on the same way so he/she can help you find the home you want to buy.
