Choosing the right location

We’ve seen in a previous article about location that in many areas of South Florida, especially in Aventura City, water views have a huge impact in the price of the property, particularly in condo units.  The top floor commonly known as the penthouse will be the most high-priced because of the value of its view in certain locations of South Florida.
If you really wish to live in a particular location, but can't afford the greatest house on the best side of the finest block, you will have the opportunity to trade down a bit by opting for a different block that can be reasonably priced for you.
You can choose a less attractive location in the greatest block. Or, you can just decide to buy a home or a condo unit that requires some type of renewal on the best block. So you can build in value and in the future you will be able to see that your Real Estate investment was successfully done. Check out one, two or three different locations before making an offer. Do some walking around the neighborhood and spend some time at the local grocery store and other shops to see who’s there and test if these places are the safest. Stop by the police station and ask for local crime info.  Do as much as you can before deciding where you will be purchasing a property. It is much easier to investigate about the location before putting together the good faith deposit to a signed agreement.
