Why becoming an official MS Walk sponsor?

The MS South Florida Chapter encourages all companies to become a sponsor. Why? To help fund research for a cure. There are more than 15,000 individuals affected by this illness in South Florida. The MS South Florida Chapter gave great exposure to many companies at the MS Walk last year and the entire community was so proud of them. Corporate teams that were highly involved in 2005 are as follows: Ace Golf Classic, Creative Homes of SW Florida, Curves, Florida Gulf Coast University, Fedex, Florida Neurology Group, Gulfstream Homes, Keller Williams Platinum Realty, Naples daily News, Orion Bank and Florida Postal Workers among many others. Multiple sclerosis is a neurological disease and can cause unclear vision, loss of balance, reduced coordination, slurred speech, shivers, numbness, severe fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, and loss of sight. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50. The changeable physical and emotional effects persist the rest of their lives. The progress, severity, and particular symptoms of MS in any one person are not predictable.
